PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acupuncture assisting tool capable of obtaining an effect comparable to or higher than that of moxibustion acupuncture, and to provide a moxibustion acupuncture alternative kit applicable to meridian therapy. SOLUTION: The acupuncture is an acupuncture assisting tool having a through hole through which the acupuncture can be inserted in the center of a carbon disk having a thickness of 2 to 20 mm and a diameter of 15 to 100 mm, with the acupuncture inserted into the affected area. The through hole is inserted into the through hole for use. When infrared rays are irradiated in such a state, the far infrared rays effect of the carbon disk warms the deep part, and a moxibustion treatment effect can also be obtained.
