PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial dielectric with high dielectric constant and reduced loss.;SOLUTION: An artificial dielectric 1 includes a plurality of unit cells 2 each of which includes an elongated line conductor 3 formed on a plane, a capacitor electrode conductor 4 disposed in the thickness direction at least at one end portion of the line conductor 3, and a connection conductor 5 connecting the line conductor 3 and the capacitor electrode conductor 4.
