PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial dielectric resonator in which a specific dielectric constant in a basic mode can be improved further.SOLUTION: An artificial dielectric resonator 1 comprises: a first series metal strip group 2 configured by annularly arraying a plurality of sheet-like metal strips 20 in a length direction at minute intervals 20G; and a second series metal strip group 3 configured by annularly arraying a plurality of sheet-like metal strips 30 in the length direction at minute intervals 30G. The first series metal strip group 2 and the second series metal strip group 3 are disposed proximately in a thickness direction of the metal strips 20 and 30 and the metal strips 20 or 30 in the one metal strip group 2 or 3 are disposed while facing the other metal strip group 3 or 2 to be spread over the intervals 30G or 20G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
