The present invention describes an automatic system for propagation material sampling, a method for automating propagation material sampling and propagation material sampling equipment. More specifically, the present invention comprises a machine for the anti-contamination collection of samples of a propagation material in a non-destructive manner, that is, retaining the suitability for subsequent propagation of the sampled propagation material, transport and tracking of the sample without the sample being contaminated with residues of other materials, and tracking of samples with desirable characteristics.
