A projection image (P) automatic correction method and system based on binocular vision. The method comprises: (S1) obtaining a depth map of a projection image (P) on a projection plane; (S2) calculating a first transformation relationship (Q) between a source image (O) and the projection image (P); (S3) obtaining a distorted image according to the depth map; (S4) obtaining a corrected image after the distorted image is corrected; (S5) calculating a second transformation relationship (S) between the distorted image and the corrected image; (S6) obtaining a correction relationship (W) between the source image (O) and the corrected image according to the first transformation relationship (Q) and the second transformation relationship (S); and (S7) correcting the projection image (7) according to the correction relationship (W). The projection image (P) automatic correction method and system based on binocular vision is used for realizing efficient automatic correction of the projection image (P), is not limited by a projection area, and is high in correction flexibility.
