Disclosed are a high-speed and high-precision spectral video system for photographing flames, and a method therefor. A light signal of a required wave band is obtained by means of filtering through a light filter module (1). A light-splitting module (2) divides the light signal from the light filter module (1) into two light beams that are the same, wherein the two light beams respectively enter a coded aperture module (3) and an RGB information collection module (6). The coded aperture module (3) performs sparse sampling on the light signal. A color dispersion module (4) performs color dispersion on the light signal and transmits same to a grayscale information collection module (5). A data reconstruction module (7) aligns and de-noises two signals from the grayscale information collection module (5) and the RGB information collection module (6), reconstructs the two signals using a bilateral filtering algorithm, and then provides a result to a display module (8) for storage and display. A video collection system uses, in a flame scenario, wide-and-narrow-spectral-band filters and corresponding masks, such that not only can spectral reconstruction under a low number of sampling points be performed in order to acquire a wide-bandwidth flame spectrum feature, but spectral reconstruction with a high number of sampling points can also be performed on a relatively narrow spectral band near a flame characteristic peak in order to acquire high-accuracy spectral data.
