Weaving of multi-layer products using multiple warp rows and heald rows

An apparatus for weaving a multilayer product is disclosed, having one or more rows of warp fibers for placing warp fibers and one or more rows of healds for weaving warp fibers. The weaving apparatus has a number ratio of warp rows and heald rows, which are fractions that are not reduced to natural numbers. In addition, some of the warp fibers may be woven through healds on one or more heald rows based on the fraction. A method of weaving a multilayer product is disclosed in which adjacent warp fibers are segmented and they are woven through healds on a heald row based on the fraction.
