The present invention provides a modified atrial natriuretic peptide having prolonged blood persistence and maintaining cGMP synergistic activity. In the present invention, at least one sugar substance is directly linked by a glycosidic bond, or through a linker structure, a modified peptide linked to at least one hANP peptide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, the modified peptide or a salt thereof is effective. It provides medicines and the like contained as an ingredient.
