The present disclosure provides antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof that are specific for Campylobacter, and in certain embodiments are capable of neutralizing Campylobacter infection in a subject. In certain embodiments, the antibody or antigen binding fragment comprises an IgA antibody, such as, for example, a secreted IgA antibody. Also provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the disclosed antibody or antigen binding fragment. Also provided are methods of using antibodies, antigen binding fragments, and compositions to treat or prevent Campylobacter infection in a subject. In certain embodiments, the recombinant secreted IgA antibody of the present disclosure is administered orally to a subject infected or at risk of infection with Campylobacter.
