Hand-held head control methods and equipment that can follow diversified movements, as well as hand-held heads. In this method, a first input command is acquired, and based on the first input command, a follow-up mode is provided from a plurality of follow-up modes having different follow-up speeds for following the movement of the input unit or the hand-held member of the hand-held pan head.
