The present invention concerns a solid electrolyte for an alkali metal solid battery comprising alkali metal base salt and a semi-interpenetrating network (sIPN) from a networked and non-networked polymer, where the semi-interpenetrating network is selected from a non-networked polymer of the polyethylene oxide (PEO) group,Polycarbonate (PC),Polycaprolactone (PCL),chain-end modified derivatives of these polymers or mixtures of at least two components are selected and include the polymer polyethylene glycol-dimethacrylate (PEGdMA) networked.
