A facade element (2) is specified, which several PV modules (4),in particular organic PV modules (4),and has several connectors (6), the PV modules (4) being surface-mounted, so that each PV module (4) is adjacent to one or more other PV modules (4), each PV module (4) having two collector wires (8, 10) to connect one or more connectors (6), which are connected to one or more cells (12) of the PV module (4), the collectors (8, 10) of two adjacent PV modules (4) are electrically connected by means of a connector (6), and are connected in parallel to each other, so that the collector wires (8, 10) form a power grid with the connectors (6),in which current is conducted successively by neighbouring PV modules (4). A corresponding PV module (4) is also specified.
