The present invention relates to a system and method for verifying data integrity and origin in name-based networking, and to solve the above-mentioned problems for more efficient security in NDN, regardless of data size by utilizing the properties of Merkle Tree. By minimizing the number of signatures, it is possible to verify the source and data integrity of each segment. Through this invention, the efficiency of generating and verifying the source of a file in units of segments and integrity manifests is possible regardless of the data size, thereby reducing the burden of computing.
