Disclosed are an irreversible covalent organic framework for efficiently and selectively recovering gold and a preparation method therefor, and the present invention belongs to the technical field of recovering a precious metal from an aqueous solution. A parent covalent organic framework is prepared from a metal salt of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, serving as a catalyst, using a solvothermal method, and subsequently, a corresponding structural unit is subjected to an exchange reaction to thereby prepare an irreversible amide covalent organic framework material. Not only are problems regarding the preparation of a high-stability irreversible covalent organic framework solved, but an introduced amido bond also endows the covalent organic framework with the capability to rapidly and highly selectively recover the precious metal, i.e. gold, from an aqueous solution. In addition, same can be used repeatedly, and the use of a covalent organic framework as an efficient adsorbent in the field of adsorption and separation is expanded. A new material is provided for the efficient recovery or removal of a metal salt of an acid.
