PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a brake system specific to a vehicle having a motor.SOLUTION: A method for driving a brake system specific to a vehicle having a motor includes: a step of calculating a brake preset value (s) related to a target vehicle deceleration speed; and a step of executing the target vehicle deceleration speed by at least temporarily using the motor. At least one target value related to target motor brake torque to be generated is decided in consideration of a prescribed or decided characteristic curve (k) and at least one brake preset value (s), and the motor is controlled correspondingly.
