The battery module (100) comprises a battery cell (14); and the battery cell (14) comprises a battery cell body (140), a first tab, a second tab, and a third tab. The first tab, the second tab, and the third tab are separately electrically connected to the battery cell body (140). The first tab and the third tab have a first polarity, and the second tab has a second polarity. The second tab can cooperate with the first tab to input voltage and current to the battery cell body (140) or to output voltage and current from the battery cell body (140). The second tab can cooperate with the third tab to input voltage and current to the battery cell body (140) or to output voltage and current from the battery cell body (140). The first polarity is different from the second polarity.
