Provided are a positive electrode which is for a lithium-sulfur secondary battery and includes a positive electrode active material layer having an engraved pattern formed therein, a manufacturing method therefor, and a lithium-sulfur secondary battery including same. The positive electrode active material layer has a porosity of 50 to 65%. The engraved pattern has a width of 1 to 100 μm and has a depth equivalent to 30 to 99% of the thickness of the positive electrode active material layer. The volume ratio between the positive electrode active material layer and the engraved pattern is 4:1 to 40:1. Applying the positive electrode to a lithium-sulfur secondary battery can significantly improve the energy density per unit volume.
