The subject-matter described herein contains procedures, systems and computer-readable media for threat simulation and recommendations for threat reduction. Procedures for threat simulation and recommendations for threat mitigation shall include conducting a first threat simulation using at least one attack vector, with the implementation of the first threat simulation producing simulated network traffic, which is assigned to at least one attack vector and contains the transmission of simulated network traffic over at least one node to a test agent in a target network,where the test agent is configured to simulate at least one protected resource in the target network; to determine at least one threat reduction recommendation using approach metrics for simulated network traffic; and to provide at least one threat reduction recommendation for: a user via a Ben user interface.
