PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive circuit unit device capable of obtaining constant power controlled output by utilizing a widespread constant voltage/constant current variable DC power supply device.;SOLUTION: A constant voltage/constant current variable DC power supply device 100 comprises a constant voltage control circuit and a constant current control circuit including error amplification amplifiers 122 and 124 or a PWM control unit 126. In a circuit unit device 10 for constant power output, an arithmetic processing unit 18 divides a constant power setting value CWSI that is given to an output power setting input terminal 12, by a current monitor signal CMOT that is inputted to a detection current/detection voltage input terminal 14, thereby converting the constant power setting value CWSI into a constant voltage setting value CVSI under an actual output current at that time. Thus, output of constant power can be supplied to a load 210 by utilizing a function of constant voltage control in the constant voltage/constant current variable DC power supply device 100.
