The present application relates to the technical field of information, and relates to a target parameter selection method and apparatus in a reverse proxy evaluation model. The method comprises: obtaining a candidate parameter set, a set of positive samples and a set of negative samples; calculating a positive sample proportion; for each candidate parameter in the candidate parameter set, obtaining the candidate parameter value of each sample in the set of positive samples and the set of negative samples, sorting each sample in the set of positive samples and the set of negative samples according to the candidate parameter value from high to low, determining the samples having the top positive sample proportion in the sort as first samples, determining the rest as second samples, setting the number of the samples in the set of positive samples determined as the first samples to M and the number of the positive samples in the set of positive samples to N, then calculating the correct determination rate L=M/N of the candidate parameter; and selecting, on the basis of the correct determination rate of each candidate parameter in the candidate parameter set, the candidate parameter as a target parameter. The method can achieve the purpose of effectively monitoring the performance of reverse proxies.
