The authentication control is programmed to provide an initial authentication message to a user interface in response to the initiation of an authentication sequence between the vehicle and a mobile device that initiates communication with wireless transmitters,and update the authentication message in response to the completion of the authentication sequence to indicate that the authentication sequence has been completed.
