An instrument and method for the in-situ testing of the mechanical properties of a material under a complex high-temperature mechanical load. A support frame module (1) of the instrument is used for achieving the stable support and effective vibration isolation of each functional module of the instrument. A high-frequency fatigue loading module (2) is used for achieving high-frequency fatigue loading on a tested sample (30108). A static and dynamic mechanical load loading module (3) is used for achieving the combined loading of static and dynamic stretching/compressing/bending loads on the tested sample (30108). A high/low-temperature loading module (4) is used for achieving variable temperature environment loading on the tested sample (30108) from a low temperature to a high temperature. An in-situ monitoring module (5) may integrate a surface deformation damage measurement assembly (502), a three-dimensional strain measurement assembly (505), a microstructure measurement assembly (503) and an internal damage detection assembly (504) according to actual test requirements to thereby achieve the accurate parallel in-situ measurement of a micromechanics behavior, a deformation damage mode and a performance evolution rule of the tested sample (30108). The present invention has the advantages of load environment being complex, test content being plentiful and measurement precision being high.
