A virtual simulation experiment system for softwood cutting propagation of ginkgo biloba, comprising four procedures: cutting medium preparation, cuttings treatment, cutting process and post-cutting management, and fourteen specific operation steps thereof; furthermore, six modules are provided for experiment preview and self test, for full process experiment, for exploratory experiment, for knowledge learning and expansion, for experiment tips and help, and for experiment examination and evaluation; an experiment scenario is virtually simulated, and an experimental facility is constructed; corresponding parameters of an experiment design are set by means of a virtual experiment environment parameter setting device, and an experiment result is presented on a front end terminal of the system in a visualized form such as a scenario, a graph, and a table. The constructed system is powerful in function, reproduces the whole process and environment of cutting propagation production, and has a high simulation degree and a strong closeness to reality; and said system simulates and restores the teaching effect and environment of a real experiment, shortens the experiment time and improves the learning efficiency, and has wide popularization and utilization prospects in the teaching of cutting propagation experiments in universities such as agriculture and forestry colleges.
