The present invention provides a gel composition that can be suitably used for microneedles capable of self-regulating insulin release according to glucose concentration, and microneedles using the same. The insulin delivery microneedle 1 has a base portion 10 made of silk fibroin, at least one needle portion 20 integrally provided on the base portion 10, and an insulin reservoir 40.
