Inverter IGBT life prediction method for cranes and their equipment

摘要

To provide an IGBT lifetime prediction method for an inverter in a crane which contributes to stable operation of the crane by enabling the lifetime of an IGBT to be predicted, further, also contributed to life cycle cost reduction of the crane by eliminating the need of a spare item by purchasing the inverter several months before the IGBT is suddenly broken, by enabling tendency of the IGBT to be managed.SOLUTION: A power monitor is installed at a primary side of an inverter and a differential from a power monitor which is installed at a secondary side of the inverter is measured, such that a change of a VCE voltage due to deterioration from a normal time of an IGBT is measured as a calorific value of the IGBT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
