The invention relates to a device for mounting a nut (8) inside a cell (6) of a bottom fairing (3) configured to be fixed under a platform (2) of a motor vehicle chassis (1). The device comprises said cell (6) having a bottom (9) against which the nut (8) is applied via at least one elastically deformable member (10a, 10b, 10c) formed inside the cell (6) overhanging the bottom (9) and resting against a collar (13) that includes the nut (8). The elastically deformable member has a ramp (14) for guiding in translation the collar (13) of the nut (8) under the elastically deformable member (10a, 10b, 10c).
