Disclosed are a regional short-term energy power prediction method and system that take weather into consideration, comprising: acquiring meteorological data at each time within a set time period in the future by means of a network; from with a historical database, separately extracting historical meteorological station meteorological data, historical network API meteorological data, and measured historical power generation data within a set time period that conform to corresponding meteorological conditions at each time; obtaining total historical error data; obtaining real-time meteorological errors; obtaining total meteorological error data; combining the acquired meteorological data at each time within the set time period in the future with the total meteorological error data at each time to obtain meteorological prediction data; obtaining power prediction data according to the meteorological prediction data; and optimizing a system energy generation plan according to the obtained power prediction data. The present invention not only reduces the inaccuracies of the network weather forecast itself, but also overcomes the difficulty in which there are relatively large amounts of random historical data for weather changes that are unpredictable.
