Method for the extraction and the determination of microplastics in samples with organic and inorganic matrices, including the fundamental stages of: sampling and pre-treatment, acid digestion of the sample, extraction of microplastics in liquid phase, identification and quantification of the microplastics; and characterized by the fact of measuring the dimension and counting a plurality of microplastics, as the reading area measures 1 mm2, by means of electronic microscope coupled with energy dispersive X-ray analysis.
