EXTENDED DURATION CYCLIC PREFIX WITH LOW OVERHEAD FOR LTE BROADCAST

Extended duration cyclic prefixes with lower overhead are described, where an integer multiple sequence of carriers in excess of 300 carrier definition per 25 nominal resource blocks (RBs) is cyclic down 20% of the criterion. It is chosen to reduce prefix overhead. The sets of durations are then provided in association with each such integer multiple sequence of carriers such that the combined duration of the symbol duration and extended duration cyclic prefix results in an integer number of carriers for each RB. .
