A path planning method and a path planning device for a spraying operation. The path planning method for a spraying operation comprises: determining a region to be subjected to a spraying operation; acquiring a range size parameter of a feature range of an unmanned aerial vehicle, wherein the range size parameter comprises one or more of a vehicle body range, and a working range and a spraying operation range of a power system of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and determining, according to the range size parameter, a waypoint at which the unmanned aerial vehicle executes the spraying operation on the region to be subjected to the spraying operation, wherein when the unmanned aerial vehicle performs the spraying operation along an air route indicated by the waypoint, the feature range of the unmanned aerial vehicle is not beyond the boundary of the region to be subjected to the spraying operation. It can be seen, in this way, that the boundary safety problem caused by an unmanned aerial vehicle executing a spraying operation in a spraying operation region can be solved.
