The rope end connecting member (1) comprises a wedge sleeve (11) and a wedge block (12); the wedge sleeve (11) has an inner cavity (111) having two open ends, one end of the inner cavity (111) is large and the other end thereof is small, the wedge block (12) has a big end (121) and a small end (122) opposite the big end, a groove (123) is provided on the peripheral surface of the wedge block (12), and the small end (122) of the wedge block (12) is inserted into the inner cavity (111) from the big end (112) of the inner cavity (111). The hoisting structure is provided with the rope end connecting member (1). The rope end connecting member (1) and the hoisting structure can connect a rope (2) to an object (3). A traction-type building construction elevator using the hoisting structure can release a traction medium (8) along with the increase of the story height, so as to prolong the working length thereof and increase the maximum elevatable height of the elevator.
