A music-based information embedding method, and extraction method, apparatus, terminal, and a non-volatile readable storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring an intensity parameter of a musical tone of each voice in each voice part in music awaiting embedding, a secret message awaiting embedding, and a pre-configured secret key (S100); generating, according to the secret key, an encryption sequence consistent with the length of the secret message (S200); generating encryption information according to the encryption sequence and the secret information (S300); acquiring a difference set according to a difference between the intensity parameters of adjacent musical tones of each voice in each voice part (S400); modulating the difference set according to the encryption information so as to acquire a secret difference set in which the encryption information is embedded (S500); and modulating the intensity parameter of the musical tone of each voice in each voice part according to the secret difference set so as to acquire an intensity parameter of a voice in which the secret information is embedded (S600).
