The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of laser cladding machine-tool laser heads; provided are a laser-cladding joining control method and a laser head dynamic height adjustment method and system. In the laser cladding overlap control method, the motion of a spindle and a feed shaft is planned on the basis of the S-curve acceleration and deceleration method, and the motion plan is dynamically adjusted in general consideration of the clamping allowance of the lap rate and the workpiece to be clad in the feed direction, effectively resolving the contradiction between the workpiece clamping allowance and the motion planning of the spindle and the feed shaft; in addition, a laser displacement sensor is used to dynamically adjust the height of the laser head, compensate the deflection and deformation of the workpiece in real time, improve processing quality and processing efficiency, and guarantee the quality of the cladding layer.
