The present application discloses an image-text fusion method and apparatus and an electronic device, relating to the field of digital image processing technology, being able to minimize the blockage by a text to significant features in an image when typesetting the text into the image, and obtain a better visual balance degree after the text is typeset into a first image, thereby obtaining a better typesetting effect. In the method of the present application, first, a plurality of candidate text templates and the typesetting positions of a plurality of corresponding texts in an image can be determined, so that the text typeset into the image does not block a visually significant body having a high feature value in the image, such as a face or a building; and then, according to the magnitudes of the feature values of pixel points blocked by the text and the balance degree of the distribution of the feature values of the pixel points in the areas in the image in which the text is typeset, and the like, when the text is typeset into the image in different text templates and at corresponding typesetting positions in the image, the final text template of the text and the typesetting position of the text in the image are determined.
