A method for determining a temperature estimation model that estimates the temperature in a battery module comprises: calculating a first error in accordance with the difference between measured temperatures of a preliminary verification profile and estimated temperatures, with respect to models based on all respective parameter sets; using the first error and a first threshold value so as to extract a first parameter set, and using a model based on the first parameter set so as to calculate a maximum error, which is the largest error from the errors among the temperatures; extracting a second parameter set by using a second threshold value, the first error, and a weighted value; calculating a second error by using the second parameter set; and determining, as a temperature estimation model, a model based on the second parameter set, if the second error is smaller than a third threshold value.
