PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component having improved mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The magnetic material of a coil component is a soft magnetic alloy particle, a first particle whose alloy component is substantially composed of Fe, Si and Cr, Fe and Si as an alloy component, and Si which is more easily oxidized than Fe. It contains a second particle containing an element other than Cr, the average particle size of the second particle is smaller than the average particle size of the first particle, and the first particle contains Si and Cr on its surface. The second particle is provided with an amorphous oxide film, and the second particle is provided with a layer of crystalline oxide containing an element other than Si and Cr, which is more easily oxidized than Fe, on the surface of the second particle, and the crystalline oxide is composed of.
