Determine a recommendation for a meal

A method is proposed for determining a recommendation of a meal for a user. The recommendation is made on the basis of a collection of predetermined dishes, each of which is assigned a preference. The method comprises the steps of determining a dish of the collection based on the preferences associated with the dishes; providing the user with a recommendation for the particular food; capturing a rating of the recommended food by the user; and adjusting the preference of the recommended food based on the rating.
