The present invention belongs to the field of catering, and provided are a method for collecting use data of a meal recommendation technology and a meal ordering system, the method comprising: recording a recommended dish which matches number of diners and a dining budget; reading the number of diners and dining budget input by a guest; displaying the recommended dish matching the number of diners and the dining budget according to the number of diners and dining budget input by the guest, and sending technology use data to a manufacturer-preset data collection terminal. For the present invention, by means of matching the number of diners and dining budget to a dish, a system may actively recommend to a guest a dish which complies with needs thereof, thereby simplifying the ordering process of the user and controlling the dining budget within a range, which may also achieve reasonable matching of dishes and improve dining experience of the user, while allowing for a manufacturer to collect a use condition of the related technology effectively and in a timely manner.
