PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold tandem rolling facility capable of stable cold tandem rolling by preventing plate breakage even in a strip after hot rolling in which the distribution of deformation resistance in the plate width direction is unevenly generated in the longitudinal direction. A rolling method is provided. SOLUTION: To measure the deformation resistance distribution in the longitudinal method and the plate width direction by measuring the distribution in the plate width direction for a material correlating with the deformation resistance of a strip to be rolled upstream of a cold tandem rolling mill. A deformation resistance distribution measuring instrument is arranged, and at least the plate shape on the outlet side of the first rolling mill stand is predicted based on the deformation resistance distribution, and the shape control end of the first rolling mill stand is predicted based on the prediction.
