PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further develop a fluorescent light emitting material in order to obtain higher device efficiency, longer device life, blue light emission and the like. The present invention discloses an aromatic amine derivative and an organic electroluminescent device containing the same. The aromatic amine derivative has a fluorene / silicon fluorene group having an ortho-position substituent in its structure and can be used as a light emitting material in the light emitting layer of an organic electroluminescent element.
