PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary burner capable of suppressing expansion and deformation of a ejection hole. An auxiliary burner 30 includes a blow pipe 31 to which gas is supplied inside, and a dispersion cone 33 provided at the lower end of the blow pipe 31. The blow pipe 31 includes a main body portion 31b and a lower end portion 31a in which a plurality of ejection holes 32 for ejecting gas from the inside to the outside are formed. The outer surface of the lower end portion 31a is covered with a hardened layer. Since the lower end portion 31a of the blow pipe 31 is covered with the hardened layer, the periphery of the ejection hole 32 is less likely to be worn, and expansion and deformation of the ejection hole 32 can be suppressed.
