To provide a method for recognizing a dispersion state of a mineral concentrate in a mineral concentrate burner of a flash smelting furnace and a system for recognizing a dispersion state of a mineral concentrate in a mineral concentrate burner of a flash smelting furnace, capable of controlling state of a powder discharged from an opening by adjusting a fluid state of the powder.SOLUTION: A mass flow rate distribution and a temperature distribution of mineral concentrate particles M in a mineral concentrate burner 10 when an input condition of the mineral concentrate particles M supplied to the mineral concentrate burner 10 and an input condition of a gas supplied to the mineral concentrate burner 10 of a flash smelting furnace for measuring a dispersion state of the mineral concentrate particles M are calculated by a numerical simulation in advance, temperature distribution of the gas in the mineral concentrate burner 10 is measured, and dispersion of the mineral concentrate particles M in the mineral concentrate burner 10 is evaluated based on a numerical simulation result of the mass flow rate distribution of the mineral concentrate particles M in the mineral concentrate burner 10 at an input condition with which a temperature distribution equal to the measured temperature distribution is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
