11,065. Tabor, M. June 18. Exercising - apparatus.- Relates to apparatus for training the muscles of the hands and wrists, especially designed for the use of pianoforte players. Fig. 1 shows the apparatus fitted to an upright piano. Clamps 2, fixed to the distance-pieces at the ends of the keyboard on to the case, carry uprights 1 on w h i c h are adjustably mounted horizontal rods 13, 14. The rod 13 is fixed in eyes 15, while the rod 14 is fixed by screw clips 18, spring clips 21, or eyes and set-screws. Rollers 29 are mounted on the rods, and carry depending elastic loops 32, 35, arranged to act as a support to the wrists and fingers respectively as shown. Both the wrists and fingers of each hand may be supported by loops, if desired.
