Medicines, administering ; gagging - appliance.- An appliance for administering drenches &c. to sheep &c. consists of a flexible tube a, terminating at one end in a perforated nozzle c having a smooth surface, and fitted with a funnel b at the other end. In use, a gag having a central hole d2, Fig. 5, is placed in the animal's mouth, the nozzle c is then threaded through the hole and passed into the stomach, and the medicine poured into the funnel.
