New or Improved Combined Tobacco Pipe, Cigar Holder, Cigarette Holder and Cigar Cutter

9466. Kinsky, C. May 7. Tobacco p i p e s and cigar and cigarette holders ; cigar cutters.-Relates to a combined pipe, c i g a r and cigarette holder, and cigar - cutter. Fig. 1 shows the parts assembled to form a pipe. The stem c forms a cigarette holder, and is fitted with a tubular cap d, which serves as a cigar holder. These parts are connected to the stem b of the pipe by a conical piece e extended at the ends e3 as shown. The cigarcutter is fitted to the mouthpiece, and in one form consists of a plunger d3, Fig. 2, carried on a rod d' which is pressed downwards to perforate the cigar. In another arrangement, the cutter consists of a transverse blade mounted on a sliding frame. In another modification, the mouth of the holder is fitted with a transverse blade which splits the end of the cigar as it is pushed into the holder.
