A new or improved Device or Contrivance for Regulating the Hanging of Picture Frames, Mirrors and the like

10,849. Garstang, J. I. May 25. Pictures &c., hanging. -Relates to a device for adjusting the angles of hanging pictures, mirrors, &c. A pointed stem a has a flat head a1, strengthened at each side by a rib m and provided with notches g, g1, g2. The device is used as shown in Figs. 3 and 4. When the picture is hung bv a chain, as in Fig. 5, the device shown in Fig. 2 is used. The cord may be shortened by taking a turn round the head between the notches g, g1.
