Packing surgical appliances. - Plaster-of-Paris and other surgical bandages, dressings, &c. after wrapping up, have the receptacles or wrapping- material rendered air, water, and germ proof by coating with such materials as varnishes, drying- oils, gums, glues, pitches, tars, india-rubber, guttapercha, resins, or waxes, particularly paraffin wax, or mixtures of them.
