Railway and like tickets.-For the prevention of fraud, tickets, issued for passengers, parcels, goods, luggage, &c., on railways, steamers, coaches, tramcars, ferries, and so forth, are made with foil and counterfoil, each portion being inscribed with corresponding subject-matter. The counterfoils are detached prior to the commencement of the journey, or at another convenient time, and are assembled for comparison with the foils collected in the usual way.
