Delivery apparatus; set-off, preventing.-Sheets printed on one side only are delivered with their printed faces alternately upward and downward, so that interleaving sheets are only required on alternate faces. The printed sheets are alternately delivered upon the tapes 26 by the flyer 4 and by sliding down the flyer. The delivery roller 3 makes two revolutions to one of the impression cylinder 2. A pinion 6 on the shaft of the roller 3 gears with a spurwheel 7 on a shaft 8 carrying a crank 9, which is connected by a rod 10 to a bell-crank lever 11 connected by a rod 12 to a spring-actuated latch or stop 13, which engages an arm 14 on the flyer shaft 23 to retain the flyer. The shaft 23 carries a toothed segment 22 engaged with a rack 21 on a spring-actuated rod 20, which is connected to a bell-crank lever 18 carrying a roller 17 against a cam 16 on the shaft 15 of the impression cylinder.
