Corks. - In corks made partly of cork compound and partly of natural cork, the base part b of natural cork, which is next to the liquid in the bottle, is formed with a hollow cylindrical tenon e, which fits into a corresponding annular mortise in the top part a of cork compound, the cylindrical stud d on the part a fitting in the corresponding recess inside the tenon e on the part b. The two parts are further secured together by cementing.
